Ideally, they have a website that provides a description of the relevant item(s), their cost, and where the company is located because that affects shipping costs and import tax.
Barcode generator: Prints consecutive barcodes on standard letter paper and remembers the last number generated. The format is CODEXXXXXXX where CODE it the registered herbarium code (up to 6 letters long) and each X stands for a digit. Download the zip file and unzip it on the herbarium computer. KeyBase: a site for posting dichotomous keys. It enables users to use any of three formats; taxon names can be linked to other web resources, such as taxon pages in OpenHerbarium and OpenZooMuseum. GeoLocate: A Platform for Georeferencing Natural History Collections Data: locates and georeferences locations; makes estimation of geodetic uncertainty easier; integrated with Symbiota, the software that runs OpenHerbarium and OpenZooMuseum. GoogleEarth: Provides latitude, longitude, and elevation.
